Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee engineering projects from planning to delivery. This is a full-time, on-site role. You will coordinate with teams, manage timelines, supervise electrical engineering tasks and ensure projects meet high-quality standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Work Preparation
- Study projects and collaborate with Sales for clarity
- Prepare designs according to customer requirements and obtain approvals
- Plan project execution, determine required materials and manage RFQs
- Prepare project planning schedules and detailed work instructions
- Ensure proper testing and documentation procedures are followed
- Ensure timely and correct handover of projects to clients
Quality Control
- Supervise intermediate and final quality checks of all client deliveries
- Ensure project parts meet standards before leaving the workshop
- Conduct inspections, toolbox meetings and site visits
- Oversee appropriate waste management and corrections
Delivery Management
- Ensure installations are tested and inspected before final client delivery
- Propose and supervise corrective measures as required
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by management
Qualifications
• Project Management, Project Engineering and Project Planning skills
• Strong Communication skills
• Experience in Electrical Engineering
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience in the crane manufacturing or heavy machinery industry is a plus
